[ National Symphony Orchestra Celebrates Spain's Presidency of EU ]


Damascus (SANA)- The Syrian National Symphony Orchestra led by the Spanish Maestro Edmond Colomere on Tuesday performed a concert on the occasion of Spain's Presidency of the European Union at the Opera Hall in Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts Spain's Ambassador in Damascus Juan Serrat hailed Syria's celebration of Spain's taking over the EU presidency through the nice cooperation between the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra and the Spanish Maestro Colomere.

Information Minister Mohsen Bilal expressed congratulations to the friendly Spain on the occasion, wishing Spain success in its missions.

Culture Minister Riyad Nassan Agha and a number of the EU accredited ambassadors in Damascus attended the concert.
